How Econnet processes personal data.
This Privacy Policy explains which personal data Econnet processes, why it is processed, and which rights you have.

Personal data we process
When you contact Econnet, we may process information you provide. The project form includes your name, company, email address, optional phone number, requested service, project status, project description, approximate budget, and preferred start.
Correspondence and follow-up information may also be processed when an enquiry or client relationship is actively followed up. Limited technical data, such as IP address, time, and browser or device information, may be included in ordinary operational and security logs held by the site’s technical providers.
Please do not send sensitive personal data through the project or contact form.

Purposes and legal bases

Project enquiries
When you submit the project enquiry form, Econnet processes the information you provide in order to assess and follow up your enquiry.
The information is stored securely in Econnet’s WordPress system and used to:
- process and respond to the enquiry
- ensure reliable delivery if email transmission temporarily fails
- follow up a potential partnership or delivery
The information may include name, email address, phone number, company name, selected service, business stage, budget, preferred start time, and project description.
Enquiries that have been sent or completed are normally deleted no later than 180 days after receipt. Enquiries with technical delivery errors may be retained longer until the error has been handled or the enquiry is deleted manually.
Access to stored enquiries is limited to authorized administrators.
You may request access, correction, or deletion of the information by contacting Econnet at contact@econnet.no.
Submitting an enquiry does not in itself create a binding agreement.
Direct contact
Email, phone, and WhatsApp may use different providers and transmission channels. The terms and privacy practices of the selected channel may therefore also be relevant.
Do not send sensitive or particularly confidential information through ordinary contact channels.
Technical data and security
Limited technical information may be processed to operate the site, diagnose errors, prevent misuse, and maintain security. The scope and retention period depend on the actual hosting and logging setup.
Cookies and analytics
At the latest technical review, the public website had no active analytics or marketing technologies. Necessary WordPress functions may use technical cookies in specific situations, such as authorized administrator login.
Service providers and processors
Technical providers may process data where necessary for hosting, email, form delivery, security, accounting, or project communication. The providers actually used and the applicable agreements must be kept current in the internal supplier register.
Transfers outside the EEA
Whether personal data is processed outside the EEA depends on the providers and transfer channels actually used. Where such a transfer requires a specific legal basis or safeguard, this must be assessed and established before processing begins.
Retention
Data is not retained longer than necessary for the purpose unless an agreement or law requires further documentation. Final periods must follow the approved internal deletion and retention procedure.

Complaints
You may contact Econnet first if you believe the processing is incorrect. You may also lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.
Information security
We use organizational and technical measures appropriate to the data and risk. No digital transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be entirely risk-free.

This policy may be updated when services, tools, processing, or legal requirements change. The date above is updated when material changes are published.
